Unsurpassed reliability and capability for MANY important reasons:
  1. Welding is approximately 10% of edge welded bellows- The KEY WEAK POINT of edge welded bellows
  2. They have a smooth, open flowing continuous surface- much less prone to trap debris
    1. They are formed far below their critical elastic limit-thus assuring uniform wall thickness without risers, One convolution at a time!!!!
    2. They can be contructed in MULTIPLE LAYERS- this is a feature NOT obtainable with edge welding...and the KEY POINT to assure unsurpassed reliability against
    1. Corrosion- if one layer fails, there are others to carry on
    2. Spring pressure- can be designed to ANY pressure needed
    3. Fluid pressure can be resisted to heretofore unattainable levels
    4. Exotic materials layers can be function specific to resist corrosion, temperature, provide spring tension
    5. Up to 5 individual layers as required.
    1. They can operate in extremely high or low temperatures- they are formed to operate at far below their elastic limits, ading greatly to their reliability in extreme conditions.
    2. They can be installed anywhere - as simple seal or cartridge- in single, tandem, or double acting arrangments
