A major aspect of Harbor Seal's business is the repair of mechanical seals, we are easily one of the most properly equipped and skilled companies to refurbish your desired units.
When your seal is received for repair you are either quoted that same day or the morning after. Our repair lead times are no more than 14 business days, no matter the complexity.
A typical repair which may require new sealing faces would take roughly 3-5 business days.
Any repair which only requires lapping and polishing can ship in 1-2 business days.
This speed and productivity is thanks to our in house capabilities to cnc machine carbon, to manufacture/sinter silicon carbide, multiple cnc mills and lathes to manufacture misc seal parts such as sleeves, glands, lock collars and etc. And to have the grinding machines necessary to grind the silicon and tungsten seal faces to their required specs.

Subsequent pressure testing is done to all repaired units after they are rebuilt to ensure their advertised capabilities.

Rust, Pitting, corrosion and or any other damage to your seal can easily be corrected by Harbor Seal's repair team.
We submerse all of the seal's components (unless aluminum) in an ultrasonic bath which allows deep cleaning to be possible, removing any sort of bacterial or chemical buildup around and inside your seal.
